Coinspot integration (api)
complete

Just putting the feelers out their to see how many people are using coinspot here and how many are hoping it’s added into delta app as an api? I saw some discussion on telegram from devs about the possibility and i’m happy it is being considered as 95% of my trades have been made on coinspot. I think it will be good to have on delta, I haven’t tried the other exchanges so not sure whether I could do a kind of detour api transfer or trades to get coinspot inputted....

Folks,
Apparently CoinSpot updated their API last week :O
Is it possible that Delta will be able to fix up that integration please?
Kind regards,

There seems to have been a post earlier this year labelling CoinSpot as completed and in line as a option for connected exchanges.
It’s still not there.
Please add! https://www.coinspot.com.au/api

Has this changed at all? - It's December 2018 now and I know Coinspot have been upgrading their systems.

Michael Nunzio Colagiovanni: not sure coinspot have improved their api yet, maybe we all need to email them or submit a support request for coinspot to update on the progress. I really like the new website, but manually putting all my transactions into delta is a chore I’d prefer not to do, I usually get mixed up with the crypto price including fee or excluding fee to add into my transactions, so my delta portfolio is out. It’s not out by much, but still. It doesn’t help I’m like a crypto ‘Pokémon’ enthusiat- got to buy them all!

Jess Hughes:
Agreed. It's pretty frustrating. I've loosely added the trades but the pricing isn't accurate. It's close enough for now but it would be good to have an accurate import export.
I'm not sure what the hold up is from coinspot. Ive purchase delta pro no ads and then realised it didn't have the functionality. 🤐

Yes we needs this Badly. Man I would be so happy. Coinspot seems to be so slow in Adding things their customers want. We want and need this.... I purchased the Pro version thinking I can use the API but then found out I cannot. SO SAD...... Come on Coinspot. Get your act together...

Just started to figure out how all this api business works to then find out that coinspot isn’t available to co next with delta. I’m keen to see this work out!!

I just tried around their API, there is a history API which does not give enough information. For example I sold 1000 TRX and got 916 XVG last month. For that transaction the details is this
[ { _id: '',
amount: 1000,
rate: 0.916349480968858,
total: 916.3494809688581,
status: 'completed',
coin: 'TRX',
created: 1522110764798,
type: 'SELL' } ]
I removed the id, but apart from that all the other information is the same.
There is one obvious missing part, there is no information on XVG. I raised a request to fix the issue. Lets hope they add the attribute to API otherwise we will have to wait till CSV transformation is done. I can probably write a simple transformation that can pick up https://www.coinspot.com.au/my/orders/history and transform it into Delta supported CSV format.

Russ B: delta admin twan mentioned tonight in the telegram app thatthere is an issue with coinspot not having the right type of endpoint integration to allow delta to functionally use coinspot api and suggested we contact coinspot to request them to upgrade it. Of which I did tonight and got a reply from coinspot, with no eta in sight. Not sure if coinspot will consider it a priority if more people request it.

Jess Hughes: That is such a poor response given how crucial they are for alt coin trading in Australia.
That is literally the only reason I find them useful.
Complaints are:
- Busted UI and API
- To add insult to injury, non existant CSV import or export
- High fees
- Slow customer service
- can’t receive in half your wallets (like ETH?!)
Yet I still use them because arbitrage was very favourable at one stage.
Maybe just building a CSV export using scrapy is a good alt!

Russ B: bad for business 😝. Are you in Victoria? I am. Only know my partner whose not quite as crazy about crypto as me and a random Stranger I met in an Apple store and chat with occasionally ...whom I’m not sure if he is a secret crypto billionaire or hasn’t actually invested anything at all in crypto lol
Russ B
Jess Hughes: well if you wanna talk crypto i'm happy to, DM me on twitter, @ruski and we can exchange IM deets.
